Limited Access on Wifi (Philips TV)
Main Post:
Hi guys, all of my streaming apps suddenly stoppped such as Netflix, Prime, Apple TV and some other similar local apps. However Youtube works and the TV is definitely connected to the internet (Confirmed by a speed test app).
But when I re-try to connect the router, it says limited access first.
I tried factory resetting the TV, checking the time settings, resetting the router and connecting the TV to my phone's hotspot. None of them worked.
Stuck here and need help please...
Top Comment: Does it have the option to connect it via ethernet on the back? If so I'd try that and see if the apps have issues still. It sounds like the router's the problem but if it's having that problem on the phone's hotspot using wifi it could be the wireless adapter on it is going out. Either way if there's a option to use a wired connection I'd try that and see if it fixes the issues. I've noticed even on good connections wired works better then wireless.
Limited by my TV Stand
Main Post:
Hello everyone. I had a Vizio P-series that ended up dying on me and am looking at new TV's. I was settled on the TCL 6, both 625 or 617 series but the legs won't fit on my TV stand (47.5''). I'm now stuck on which TV to go to next that will fit my TV stand (I don't want to purchase an additional stand or wall mount). Any other thoughts for a TV that will fit this? My room is fairly dark, no direct sunlight, 60% video games, 40% streaming netflix/hulu mostly movies and television shows. Budget trying to stay below $500. Any and all help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
Edit: Forgot the size, looking at 55"

I know you said you don't want to buy an additional stand or mount but for $35 on Amazon you can get a nice universal TV stand and have a very secure place for your TV without potentially compromising the stability of the TV.

TV without cable for limited time.
Main Post:
We have a vacation place that has wifi and cable, but we put the cable service on hold when we are away. I am heading up there in a week to check on my elderly parents who live in the area , and cannot turn the cable service on again for just the week.
We do maintain the WiFi to power the alarms, etc.
Does anyone know of a way I can get at least some television for the week while I am there? I am not particularly technologically oriented, so would appreciate any info on an inexpensive alternative to cable for a week.

I'd take an inexpensive Roku with me. This will give you access via Wifi to more than you will ever be able to watch.
Whats the best way to have Torrentio on a Google TV with limited local storage?
Main Post:
Mainly the title, a google tv like that which was bought relatively recently has about 3gb of free storage and perhaps around 7-8gb total. I was wondering how would it be possible to run torrentio on a device with such limited storage because as far as I know torrentio would use a torrent-like approach to store the movies locally.
If of course there are better free options let me know, its not for me so I ask for the ones who got the TV.
Thanks in advance.
